Li Wei invites Jay Chou to write song
by kelvin@multistars - 14th September 2004A few days ago when Li Wei and Jay were playing basketball, he took the opportunity to invite Jay to write a song, hoping he can write a slow song for CTV's "Legend Of Speed". Jay straightforwardly said yes, within a week he brought out the demo for the outro song for "Legend Of Speed".
At first they didn't plan on getting Li Wei to write the lyrics for "Legend Of Speed", but when he heard Jay's melody, he immediately wrote down his mood, after being checked by the producer, also felt it was suitable, this song is going to be recorded into the OST for "Legend Of Speed".
The lyrics written by Li Wei: "Use life as a oath.....use smile watching you leave." Seems to be reflecting the mood after the separation of Li Wei and Xu Wei Lun, for this Li Wei stressed: "This song is in "Legend Of Speed", Feng (played by Li Wei) devoting it to Juliet."
