Chat now officially starts, firstly I ask Jay Chou to say hi to web friends.
J: Hello to all web friends! I am Jay Chou
P: A lot of web friends have put forward a lot of questions.
W milan lj: Which song do you like the most in the new album "Common Jasmin Orange"?
J: A lot. I ought to like.
W fine day tune: We have looked forward to Jay Chou's "Common Jasmin Orange" for a year, very moved, in your heart what aspect is the best? You need to take care of your body, no matter what we will always support you.
J: Music that I think is good, I can only give that to all the fans who like me. That's why every song is very good music.
W good man: You especially went to Vladivostok for the cover for the new album, you met many troubles on the trip to Vladivostok, did you meet any matters that made you feel very profound? The children there suffer the pain of war, what do you want to say to them?
J: This is a very meaningful place. Actually they don't have any pain now. And they are not as poor as everyone imagines them to be.
W: A lot of people evaluate very highly the song "Casualties Of Stopping War", this is an anti-war song talking about war, did you purposely use lyrical like this, sorrowful music to oppose the cruelty of war?
J: Yes, there are some sad verses.
P: Do you yourself like the look in it?
J: I like.
P: How do you usually dress yourself up?
J: Don't care about my appearance, the simpler the better
W good man: The same name plugged song "Common Jasmin Orange", the lyrics are by Vincent Fang, this is the first time he writes a poem, are you really good friends?
J: Yes.
P: How old is he?
J: Not over 30 years old.
W: In "My Territory" the deepest impression it gave me is still you learning Beijing dialect, do you like Beijing?
J: Of course I like it. I can't wait to go to look at the Great Wall.
W: Have you been to the Great Wall and Imperial Palace?
J: I have, I still want to go.
P: Do you think Beijing dialect is fun?
J: Very fun.
P: Besides stuff like "buddies", is there anything else more fun?
J: There isn't.
W fruit mu si: In the song "Maternal Grandmother" it sounds very commonplace, but in fact it reveals the problem of not only providing materially for the love of the elderly but should also provide mentally, is your relationship with your maternal grandmother good?
J: Yes.
W: Is your maternal grandmother the person you like the most? In this world who loves you the most?
J: Family.
W: In the 4th Global Chinese Music Awards, you won a lot of awards, what changes was this time's awards ceremony with the usual?
J: Very invigorating and very happy, I can take the awards I should get and take it home.
P: You've won so many awards; their and your work must be really busy, do you still have time to play with your family?
J: Very good.
P: Do you feel you owe your family?

J: I can only see them when I have free time in work, mother still follows me, if I film an MV, even though the time we see each other is not much, but we can still see each other.
W: After you make money how do you give presents to the elderly?
J: My parents mostly like to play, take a trip to Europe with them.
W: Your father and mother like "East Wind Breaks" the most, what other songs do they like?
J: In the first album my mother likes "Lovable Woman".
W: I think that I admire you the most not for your looks, but your diligence, apart from your own work you also have to write, you need to take care of your body.
J: Thank you!
W float: The song "Chaotic Dance Of Spring And Autumn" in the new album, it feels like you and Vincent Fang are using an unrestrained and vigorous style, how is this song's MV looking like?
J: This MV should be the one with the most action in this album. There will be a lot of coordination, we've already finished filming it. Right now we are doing postproduction, it should be very exciting.
W: As a person who can write melody and lyrics, which field do you think you have gift in?
J: When I'm writing songs. There's a feeling of spirit coming to my pen.
W: What others are there when you are producing?
J: That is maintaining the level of the whole album. Not only this but I have to participate in a lot of things, including the MVs' plots. I am a fussy role.
W: In the "Common Jasmin Orange" MV you wore a very long beaded necklace, is this made by yourself?
J: Yes.
W: The champion of Olympic 110 metre hurdles is Liu Xiang, he likes you a lot too, do you think you look alike?
J: I haven't heard about that before.
P: If you had the chance would you write a song about 110 metre hurdles?
J: I will.
P: At the same time what other sports do you like? Including basketball.
J: Nothing special.
P: Music is number one, basketball is number two, this is your interest. If in the future you are practising basketball, which one is more exhausting?
J: There are too many musicians who can play basketball.
P: When you were little did you think about doing sports as a career?
J: Yes, play basketball.
P: Why did you give up afterwards?
J: Because there wasn't much progress.
W: On the 8th of September is there a basketball match you are going to participate in? Do you have confidence?
J: Yes, I have confidence.
W: Towards China basketball star team, elderly, will you bully them?
J: No.
P: Have you and Jerry Yan played basketball before?
J: Yes.
P: Is it position?
J: Point guard.
W: Do you like Yao Ming?
J: Not bad.
W: Playing basketball and concert, which one are you more nervous about?
J: Playing basketball.
W: Which one is improved more, first time or second time?
J: The first time was in Hong Kong, the main point was playing basketball and not for singing. So I had an hour of being a sports star of my dreams. I won a MVP award.
W: There are a lot of people like me who love music, but because of restrictions of the region with some other aspects, I can only bury my dream of music in my heart, we pay close attention to you, you have to work hard, can you talk a bit about your views on music?
J: I think you should work hard, then you can realise your dream. Don't be discourage, a lot of people's work have nothing to do with music, but they still do it very well.

W smiling fish: Athens Olympics just finished, but we discovered your "Dragon Fist" and "Nun-Chuks" were broadcasted in the Olympics, will you write a song about the Olympics, if you had a chance will you write a song for the 2008 Olympics?
J: If I had this one, of course it is good.
W "Si Wei": Will Jay Chou be releasing a MV album?
J: I hope that the company can arrange it.
W: Apart from writing the feelings of us youngsters, in your work there is also a lot about the natural environment and relationship of father and mother, do you normally have a lot to think about?
J: Yes.
W: What time do you use to think?
J: When I can't get to sleep.
W: What is the thing you pay most attention to right now?
J: The concert on the 2nd of October.
W Callas princess: What is your look in your usual life?
J: Not like a star, my hair is not as tidy, but my personality should be about the same.
W: Have you got a lot of friends?
J: Not a lot, I don't like making friends.
W: Is the time you arrange freely usually very good?
J: Yes.
W: Do you often have insomnia?
J: No.
W Nan Quan: I am the webmaster of the Nan Quan Mama Chinese website, when we see Nan Quan Mama we will think of you, do you think it has been some effect of yours, some people say they are "Little Jay Chou", what differences are there between your music and theirs?
J: I hope Nan Quan Mama is a bit more hotter in Mainland China, I hope you can hear their music anywhere. Because I think their music is the best at the moment for groups, their music is definitely the best.
W good man: After you came out, what was the most embarrassing thing that you met with?
J: It was after not getting any awards.
W: Whom do you appreciate the most?
J: The piano teacher in primary school.
W: Can you describe a bit about your piano teacher?
J: He is a very strict middle-aged person. If he wasn't that strict at that time, I won't be playing the piano as good.
W: What is the instrument you like the most now? Piano? Cello or guitar?
J: Piano.
W sun rain: Apart from singing, do you have other plans for the future? What do you want to do after you stop singing?

J: Pianist.
W: Which director and actors do you want to work with the most?
J: People with ideas.

J: Should be pursuing of certain kinds of ideals, not giving up.
W: Memories about your childhood appear in certain songs, right now which one is your most beautiful time?

J: Yes. I've also gotten a lot of things. Gotten a lot more applause, this is also something I didn't have at 12 to 16 years old.
W: When you were 12 to 16 years old what was your dream?
J: To be a musician.

J: It was completely different to now, it also had something to do with music, but not pop music.
W: Which is more important to you, family, friendship or love?
J: Family.
W: Can you talk simply about the event travel route of your recent trip to Beijing?
J: The day after tomorrow I will be filming a commercial for China Mobile. Then it's the performance for the Perfect Concert.
W: You need to take some rest, when it's the competition I hope to see your splendid performance.
J: There aren't many competitions like this.
P: This is a basketball team they established 10 years ago.
W xiao qiao yi pai: Musicians are normally a bit more isolated, if they even care about others feelings then they would be very tired, are you used to being yourself?
J: Not wrong. Musicians have to be like this. A bit more subjective.
W xiao qiao yi pai: Can you talk about your views towards music? For instance what type of music do you want to try the most?
J: I've already written the ones I want to challenge, the rest that are left that I don't write are styles I don't like.

W: You haven't been out long; you've already released a lot of albums, which one do you like the most?
J: "Fantasy" the second album. I think this one established my style. The first one was a foundation. But the second one was a style, afterwards there were newcomers like this, people will think they are a lot like Jay Chou. For the first one people said the feeling was like David Tao, but no one talked for the second one.
W: In the KTV in Beijing, which song of yours is the most popular?
J: "East Wind Breaks" and "Nun-Chuks".
W: Now in "Ye Hui Mei" the one that people pay most attention to, "East Wind Breaks" is number one, you can hear it everywhere. You can predict the new album "Common Jasmin Orange" can gradually become popular.
W: Can you go online?
J: I will.
W: All of Jay Chou website members hope your concert is a success.
J: I hope you can continue to support my music. I also hope I can see everyone at the Perfect concert.
W: On the net your fans have built 3 of your fan websites, do you go to look normally?
J: There is a Chinese website, and there's one called Shanghai 1943. Normally I like to go to my own official more. I will also go to other websites.
W: Do you have experience of buying online?
J: Yes. Foreign website.
W: Did you auction a car online?
J: Yes. Antique car.
W: How many do you have now?
J: 10. My favourite is the one I filmed with maternal grandmother, there's a white one.
P: In the "Maternal Grandmother" MV, you borrowed your family and your own car.
J: Yes. Some that you cannot see everywhere, if you go to my official you can see a short clip.
P: There were 2 in the "Ye Hui Mei" that you couldn't see in country?
J: I am very regretful.
W: Which athlete do you like the most in the Olympics?
J: The pride of Chinese people is Liu Xiang, he is a god who broke the record. Only god can do it.
W ping shui xiang feng: You like to buy antique cars, like other things, which do you like more?
J: Yes, like antique sofas and tools, it's mainly Western.
W: When did you start liking them?
J: It should be after I came out, influenced by Vincent Fang.
W: Some people say that in the Perfect Concert you will wear Beijing Opera to perform, can you reveal a bit about your appearance?
J: I still haven't thought of it, it's a bit troublesome to wear Beijing Opera, I hope to wear something a bit gaudy. I won't only be singing "My Territory", that's why the clothing has to be suitable for both fast and slow songs.
W: How many clothes will you change into?
J: Should be 2.
W adore bai xiao: "Time" magazine, says you don't take drugs, don't provoke trouble, but you can still became popular, how do you see yourself becoming popular?

P: Will see you in October.
W: Is there any chance in Beijing?
J: Next year.
W: Will you be releasing the next album at August, September next year, have you got any creativity and ideas?
J: Will release. I think albums don't come if you say come, that is inspiration coming, not only this but also coherently writing it down, at the moment I still don't have time to think about how to do the next album.
W: If you were allowed to choose again, will you still be a singer?
J: Being a singer you can let everyone hear your music, if you were a street artist or musician, only a part will be able to hear it. I choose to be able to let everyone hear the songs.
W: Do you want to win the producer award for the next GMAs with this new album?
J: I hope I can.
W: I think the MV for "Family", especially the first few scenes are very beautiful, but why was the hair dyed white, very strange.
J: That was a member, an image at that time. It was a while before they released an album, after the album was released, the image went back, that's why everyone can see how the hair is suddenly white in the MV, in fact this is the starting image I made for Nan Quan Mama, not only this but their clothes were mine, that's why I got my own maternal grandmother to go on, to film this MV for "Family". It was also the first time I was a director, I think this experience was very rich, a bit more valuable. It is equal to realising a dream of mine.
W: In terms of music, you once said you especially wanted to work with Jacky Cheung, which one of his songs did you like more in the past?

J: Yes. There will be chances in the future.
W: Will you establish an international fans website?
J: Should do.

J: You need to have good antiques.
W: What instrument do you normally use to write songs?
J: Piano.

W: Apart from jazz and piano, and also cello, what else do you like?
J: Er hu.
W: The next step will you continue to use the er hu to make some music?
J: I will.
W: Will you play the er hu?
J: No.
W: When you are facing very high demands towards your music from the vast media and the fans, will you have a lot of pressure?
