by kelvin@multistars - 7th November 2003

Yesterday (7th) the theme song "Track" and interlude "Broken String", Jay produced for the movie "Hidden Track" was broadcasted for the first time on Hit Fm and Wave Radio. The record company expressed that they spent a lot of time coordinating with the radio stations to arrange the first broadcasting of Jay's new songs because everyone will be fighting over it. To the fact that the 2 big stations were able to talk things over and work together for Jay made the record company very touched. It also shows that music can break factional views.

"Track" is the theme song Jay has produced for the movie and it was broadcasted by Hit Fm, Jay changed his R&B style that he is good at and tried English love rock, Jay expressed: "Coordinating with the movie plot, the thing this song wants to convey is after a couple has separated, she relies on the vestige of the past to search for the shadow she misses, before she forgets, until she can't see him...." This is after "Cannot Speak" that Director Chou thinks is a song that moves people the most that he has written. And the movie interlude "Broken String" that has been broadcasted Wave Radio is a fresh little piece of work, matching the Chen Pu of the movie, explained the feeling of losing love, just like a broken string.

After using his mother's name "Ye Hui Mei", this time Jay's EP will make people scratch their heads, he has put in "vmp65135.ru,6xjp6" these messed up characters into the album cover and inside, Director Chou expressed with great excitement: "I wonder if everyone can understand it? After entering it into the computer, the messed up characters become - searching for Jay Chou (in Chinese)".

Because this time the starting point for the two songs are from the love between boy and girl, it can't help but make people suspicious, where does Director Chou's inspiration for writing songs come from? Director Chou expressed that this time's story of writing the songs has come from the basis on the plot of the movie. As for his own life, he might be caught up in work before the passing of the year in the lunar calendar and he might not have a chance to have a reunion with his family, what time does he have to go on dates?
