Jay Chou is expecting to release his new album at the end of August, a lot of his concerts have been delayed until September due to the Olympics, he's recently caught the cold and hasn't gotten better yet, when it was mentioned that there hasn't been a single album in the first half of the year that broken 100,000 copies, does he have any confidence in his new album? He expressed, fundamentally he has to say he has confidence, but it really is hard to make records these days, lets see if there's a miracle, if it breaks 100,000 copies, he'll consider it a miracle.

Analyzing the records market, Jay Chou pointed out that artists have popularity, but the level of consumerism is getting lower and lower, it's not the fault of artists that records not selling, but it's the problem with the whole market and piracy, he said with a heavy tone, perhaps we'll have to wait till the consumers discover that the artists have disappeared before we pay attention to this problem, hopefully we can return to those golden years of Jacky Cheung and Anita Mui selling over a million.
