Jay Chou postpones Macau concert
by kelvin@multistars - 31st December 2004It has been announced that Jay's concert originally planned to be held on the 21st and 22nd in Macau has been postponed and they also cancelled the press conference the day after tomorrow, Zhang Yao Rong of the main organisers said: "Now we need to focus all fire power to relieve the afflicted people, it's just not suitable to do a concert, the audience won't be happy when watching, and Jay has no mood to sing, it doesn't matter that I've lost a million and a couple of hundred for rent of the venue, it also has nothing to do with the government, why don't the audience donate the money from buying tickets to relieve the afflicted people." Jay agrees with the arrangement this time, he also appealed fans to donate the money instead of buying presents. Due to the fact the concert tickets were only internal purchase, therefore delaying the concert does not have a big effect, the audience members who have already booked tickets can get refunds.
