Jay Chou goes into hospital but is unwilling to stay to be treated
by kelvin@multistars - 5th October 2003In the past few days Jay has been busy producing the theme song for the new movie "Searching For Jay Chou", he could never have anticipated that after eating conveniently in the recording studio the day before yesterday he started to have diarrhoea without end, he had no strength, at the end he needed to call the record company to ask for help, he was taken to hospital. After the doctor diagnosed him, it was confirmed he had food poisoning, the doctor requested that he stay in hospital for observation, but Jay was afraid that his sick face will be photographed secretly, so he insisted on going home to rest.
Jay was originally supposed to appear at the Pepsi New Star Contest in Mainland China the day before yesterday but because of food poisoning he has been forced to be absent. When the fans that were waiting there for a long time found out that their idol couldn't appear, they felt really disappointed. Jay expressed how sorry he was through a long distance call to the fans.
