by kelvin@multistars - 25th April 2007Young heavenly king Jay Chou got hurt while hanging from wires for the movie "Slam Dunk", after finishing work he endured the pain and carried out the post production for his self directed movie "A Secret That Cannot Be Told"; he won't be renewing his contract with Pepsi which he has been with for 5 years, that means he won't be spokesperson along with his ex rumoured girlfriend Jolin Tsai anymore.
Recently Jay Chou was filming a action scene for "Slam Dunk" in Shanghai, it was a scene with wires, punching and kicking, the accident caused a scratch and bruise to his right elbow, but being the Jay Chou who places looking good as the highest principle, not only did he not cry in pain, he even said: "It's OK! The other actors all have some bruises!" But filming on one side and doing the post production for "A Secret", it's inevitable that people will question his concentration, Jay Chou's agent company JVR expressed that due to the fact "A Secret" is coming out in the holidays, and he's far away in Mainland China filming "Slam Dunk", so all they can do is use part of the time to sleep each day to examine and check up on "A Secret".
The chairman of Chang Hong Films Wu Dun, that is investing in "Slam Dunk" said: "Jay Chou really was too tired, that's why he got hurt, but after resting for 2 days he's fine." He revealed that Jay Chou once said: "This time is the most exhausting experience in my life." Also, Wilson Chen also got bruised while filming a basketball scene.
Jay Chou has already confirmed that he will not be renewing his contract with Pepsi, JVR expressed that even though they already started discussing the matter of a renewal half a year ago but Jay Chou is just too busy, and filming the commercials and promotion takes up a lot of time, that's why we've decided to temporarily stop being spokesperson for beverages, pushing away the ten million check.
