Newly crowned GMA king Jay Chou has been unstoppable recently, the Mainland China TV stations are all fighting to get him on as a judge? In the show "I Am Listening" on Zhejiang TV for the section "I'm The Big Star", they invited Jay Chou to be a "judge", this was Jay Chou's first show on a Mainland China arts competition programme, he did magic there to encourage the contestants, they caused other tv stations to take notice.

The show "I Am Listening" broadcasted by Zhejiang TV is a magic competition, he only gave them 30 minutes on the day of the recording, in order to encourage the contestants, he turned one glass of milk into three and gave it to them to quench their thirst, he also did a trick where he ripped a piece of paper up and then turned it back into its original shape, apart from this he also had a box hanging in mid air beforehand, he predicted the names and scores of the audience.

On the show Jay Chou revealed his own experiences in competitions, he expressed the first time he took part in a competition, it was a senior female classmate that signed him up, he wanted to get number one but in the end he only managed number two. He said: "The one who got number one that year has become my keyboard player in my concert."

As to the news that since he's been appearing on the Mainland China show, it was mistaken that he was taken over the role as the magic judge. JVR clarified, Jay Chou was merely answering the invitation from the commercial sponsors to be a judge on the show, he was just doing some performances as there was a lot of passion there, he hasn't been a judge in either magic or music. He modestly said, "You should leave a judge's work to professional teachers, I'm only there to cheer on the contestants!"
