by kelvin@multistars - 5th September 2004

Jay Chou's 5th album Common Jasmin Orange has broken 300,000 copies, today the record company Alfa Music held a celebration party.

Jay: "Now everyone loves gold medals, I think it's a kind of affirmation! I hope it can bring good luck."

At the press conference they publicly announced the plane of the concert on the 2nd of October, this time Jay will be returning to the essence of music, as for guests, he said he's getting Nan Quan Mama and hopes everyone endures it for a bit. Jay: "Nan Quan Mama! It will be a bit funny for them to be guests, because before they didn't have enough experience, but their music really is very good, I hope everyone doesn't mind what happened before, ok! Even though the result of the broadcast by the TV wasn't good, to be honest Nan Quan Mama's music really isn't bad." There will be 3 big LED screens at the concert.

Jay laughed saying that last time's concert he changed into lots of clothes, when he was changing backstage he had cramp or his shoe fell off, these very rushed situations will influence the mood of singing, thus this time he will be changing into less clothes so he can sing well.

Yesterday he just finished filming "Maternal Grandmother" the last MV, Jay said he wants to play a pianist the most, but there were some reporters suggesting he can try girl's dresses. Jay: "Girl's dress is not seen too well, I think it will wreck the whole picture, in fact the link between music and the picture is very important, I think the picture is adding points to the music."

Also, after the antique store, Jay is considering opening a tofu shop for his father to run, originally Father Zhou wanted to open a second hand clothes of stars store, but Jay thinks tofu is more appropriate; and mother's fried rice noodles is very tasty, he also plans to open a fry rice noodle shop for his mother.
