Idol drama "Pandamen" directed by Jay Chou, has invited Jiu Kong to play the triad boss "House Shrew", when they were filming at the dance studio of Tsai Jui Yueh in Taipei on the 12th, Jay Chou wanted Jiu Kong to dance ballet while being tough, he even used the song he wrote for Jiu Kong "Mosquito Song" as the base music, it was both visually and audibly black humour, this move just happens to echo Jolin Tsai's new album "Flower Butterfly" in which she challenges ballet, both are the combination of insect and ballet, the tacit understanding of Double J are just as good as ever.
"Pandamen" combines the best bits of Spiderman and Batman, Nan Quan Mama's Devon and Yuhao play Pandaman and Super Pandaman, they play the twin heroes of crime fighting. Besides inviting Eric Tseng to play the father of Yuhao, Jay Chou also invited fellow colleague Jerry Yan to guest star with him as a 2-man police team, Jerry plays a cop, Jay Chou plays a police chief, the two don't show their faces often but they add a finishing touch to the whole series.
Jay Chou has been filming everyday since the turn of the year, because of Pandaman mask was made too imposing, even though they had already started filming but he still insisted on returning the mask, without a mask Devon still had to play Pandaman, he was once seen with black signs temporarily in place, on his face and nose they had drawn black circles and a black nose, he fought bad guys on the street to rescue people.
Jiu Kong praised Jay Chou for having creativity and comedic humour, he made the "Mosquito Song" just for him because of the "mosquito" impression he gives people, whenever Kong appears, this song will play, but up till now there has only been a melody and no lyrics, Jiu Kong laughed saying: "Ordinary people can't even get Jay Chou's songs, even though it's a little embarrassing but afterwards I want him to give me the song so I can release a single."
Towards the finer details of "Pandamen", Jay Chou's JVR Music expressed, Jay Chou once said he would invite good friends to guest star, the finer details, roles and cast will be announced at the same time by the crew.
