Interview with Jessie Chiang: Jay Chou is a buddy, didn't use alias to write a song for me

Q: We know you met Jay Chou because of your relationship with Nan Quan Mama, can you talk about your relationship with them?
A: I became friends with Devon because of similar interests, the same thing with Jay. Getting photographed by the media, I feel very helpless, I believe they must feel even more helpless, I'm like any other normal friend with Jay, we send texts to one and another, I also send texts to Devon. Towards the questions from the outside world, I think if there's a need to explain I'll talk, I'll face it head on!
Q: Lets talk about the process of when you helped Jay sing one of the songs from "Secret" called "Teru Teru Bozu"; the movie "Secret" made the second lead female Alice Tzeng famous, with your friendship with Jay, why didn't he get you to be in it at the beginning?
A: From the start, I knew he made this song "Teru Teru Bozu", so I tried singing it, my voice is actually a bit on the rough side, usually I sing a bit more power songs like Amei Chang, A-Lin, at that time Jay even laughed asking me to make my voice a bit sweeter! I actually did go to try out for the part of Qing Yi in "Secret", I didn't get chosen, perhaps Alice Tzeng is more suitable for this part.
Q: There's rumours that Jay has taken on the alias "Chen Shao Rong" to write two songs for you, are they really Jay's work?
A: There's really a person called Chen Shao Rong, even though I haven't seen him before, but he really exists! When I first heard his songs I felt he was very unique, but towards this rumour I feel very sorry, he is a outstanding musician from Singapore, I feel very helpless towards this rumour.
