In the hearts of youths in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Jay Chou is their number one favourite star

An investigation discovered that Hong Kong youths buy a lot of stuff, they own mobile phones and cameras, etc... they are first in Asia for owning the most, 83% of Hong Kong youths interviewed said they owned mobile phones, more than Singapore and Korea. Also, the survey states that singers Jay Chou and Eason Chan are the number one most favourite stars of the Hong Kong youth, Andy Lau was the second favourite star of Mainland China youths.
According to Wen Wei Po's reports, they surveyed "youths of Asia" last year in 11 different places in Asia, in order to find out the buying habits and idols of youths from different areas.
The results of the investigation show that 83% of Hong Kong youths have mobile phones, number one in Asia, Singapore is number two with 76%, in terms of cameras, Hong Kong youths are also number one in Asia with 41%; Hong Kong youths with family computers or laptops was at 69%, only lower than Korean youths with 84%.
Hong Kong market survey information supervisor Lin Feng Shan pointed out, along with the ever advancing technology of mobile phones and calculators, for example adding in games, video capturing functionality and downloading music, etc... the youths dependency on mobile phones are becoming higher and higher.
Also, the investigation stated that Jay Chou and Eason Chan are the most favourite singers in the hearts of Hong Kong youths, the Taiwanese group that's recently been very popular Fahrenheit are second, in terms of Mainland China, Jay Chou again is most popular with youths, number one again, with Andy Lau in second place.
