"Hua Mu Lan" Jay Chou to hold hands with Zhang Zhi Yi

After the movie "Hua Mu Lan" was given the go ahead by the State Administration of Radio Film last year, many versions of have circulated about the news of the main cast for the movie, and recently there has been news that they have invited Jay Chou and Zhang Zhi Yi to star in "Hua Mu Lan" which is going to start filming next month, but the investors were cagey about this news, they wouldn't reveal any information.
Early last year, the investors of "Hua Mu Lan", the North Star Group made a high profile statement about the role selection, they promised that the person playing Hua Mu Lan would definitely be Chinese. Afterwards there was news that Chris Li was the best person for the role in the eyes of the investors. But a few days ago some media quoted investors North Star Group publicist Li Xiao Li as saying, "Hua Mu Lan" is going to invite Chinese movie star Zhang Zhi Yi to star in it, and the person acting with her will be Jay Chou.
Cast and director still not definite
