Filming Initial D MV, Jay Chou nearly falls off cliff
by kelvin@multistars - 4th May 2005

"Initial D" directed by Andrew Lau is expected to come out in June, not only is Jay the male lead, he has also produced two songs "Drifting" and "All The Way North", a few days ago he secretly came to Hong Kong to film the MV for "Drifting", the whole crew went to Kowloon Peak to get scenery, they also transported the AE86 from the movie to the filming venue.
Director Chou filming the MV for Initial D, of course Andrew Lau would personally direct it, in order to make the effect more spectacular, the director ordered the car to be lifted to within ten feet of the cliff edge and also for the driver to turn the car around 180 degrees, this made Director Chou, who was at the side, stunned, saying: "That driver's skill is really very diao, because if he wasn't careful he would fall down the cliff!"
Andrew Lau wanted Jay to stand at the side of the cliff, Jay took a wrong step and nearly fell off the cliff, and fortunately there was a bunch of workers by the side helping him, this accident scared the crew really bad, but Jay had a relaxed face, even joking: "I won't fall down that easily.... unless my hand was pulling Andrew Lau!"
