Everyone is after Jay Chou's work, yet Nan Quan Mama aren't using his song as the main plugged song in their new album "Battling Bach", Devon said: "Originally we didn't want to accept his song, we didn't want to be under his shadow."

Devon denied there being a rift with Jay Chou, the reason they interact less is because they are part of different companies. The interesting thing is, Director Chou just had stick his foot into Nan Quan's album, he insisted that his "buddies" should have one tenth of his shadow. Afterwards Nan Quan accepted his "The River, Afternoon, I Pass By", but he thought Vincent Fang's song title didn't flow well, he wanted to change it to "In the Afternoon I Pass By A River", Devon said: "Don't change it, it's not the main plugged song anyway." He didn't mind at all.
