"Chrysanthemum Flower Bed" has chance at Oscars, "Slam Dunk" female lead set to be Ah Sa

Yesterday the organisers of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Oscars announced the 56 movie songs that have the right to compete in the award, Jay's "Chrysanthemum Flower Bed" was the only Chinese song, even though this doesn't mean it will be nominated but it has already gotten attention. The animated movie "Over The Hedge" and the musical "Dreamgirls" both got 3 songs, the others included "007 Casino Royale", "Blood Diamond", "Poseidon", etc...
After Jay found out about getting into the early selections he expressed "I'm very happy", his agent company Alfa Music expressed, Jay places importance in "Curse Of The Golden Flower" participating in the Oscars, Golden Globe, these types of international competitions.
