Reporter: You hardly ever perform in public with Jolin, what do you feel about this time's collaboration?
Jay: This is the second time we have publicly performed together, two years ago I accompanied her on the piano, leaving me a deep impression, the feeling was very good, we work together very well, and I really understand her. The tacit agreement between an accompanist and a singer is very important; you can't be successful working together by doing whatever.
Reporter: Where did this tacit agreement of yours come from? Were you born with it?
Jay: I have helped her write songs, sang background vocals, been her producer, everyone understands each other quite well, you could say we were born with it. Because this time is the second time of our collaboration so we were not that nervous, the effect wasn't bad. I believe everyone saw it.
Reporter: Then how do you evaluate her music and her as a person?
Jay: Her music has always been improving; you can prove this point just with her album sales. Her as a person, I feel she is very real, privately she is even more lovable, because some celebrities are very pretentious onstage, it's very hard to distinguish the performance on and off stage. I think that Jolin Choi is a very good female friend.
Reporter: The rumour between the two of you just calmed down, this time's collaboration are you not scared of old things being mentioned again?
Jay: In the past the media always reported on us two going shopping or whatever, now everyone's attention on this side has lessened, we can collaborate more in music, we won't be written about again.
Reporter: Then why have you invited Landy Win to be your own guest star and not invite Jolin Choi?
Jay: I don't know many female artists, Landy is a female junior apprentice I have worked with, I write girls' songs, for a lot of them I find her to duet with me, this time getting her to be guest star, I will sing "Rooftop" with her. If there's a chance, next year I will invite Jolin to be my special guest.
Reporter: You will be singing love songs in the concert, is there a corresponding picture appearing in your heart?
Jay: The part of singing love songs I will use a bit more heart, but I think the romantic ones should appear offstage, lovers come together, will certainly feel very warm. If they come their separate ways, perhaps they'll get back together.
Reporter: You have so much confidence in your own music, yet you tragically met the "waterloo" in this year's GMA, where do you think the biggest problem is?
Jay: "Eight Dimensions" has been blurred by the problem of awards. Judging an award is a very big degree to do with the taste of the judges and your own luck, I hope that with "Ye Hui Mei" I can win the Producer Award next year at the GMA. Getting more awards is my biggest New Year wish.
Reporter: Then which part of your music do you think is liked most by fans?
Jay: Cannot simply say my music is good, can only say that my music possesses the strength of proliferation, can give people the feeling of freshness. A lot of youngsters like to go to KTV, like challenges, just so happens my songs are very fast, so they liked it.
Reporter: Nicholas Tse will hold a concert a week before you, are you scared this will affect your ticket sales?
Jay: Our performing style, performing way are not the same, also our music type is different, if you admire music then you should listen to it more, watch it more, I also hope that my fans will go to his concert, understand more about other people's music, go with an open mind, accept more of other people's stuff.
