A Do invites Jay Chou to write a song; Jay Chou delivers it by a special plane

by kelvin@multistars - 12th January 2004

A Do's latest album "Hello", he invited musical genius Jay Chou to write a song, even though one song costs $200,000, also the customer was in Singapore, but Jay's "service after the sale" was very good, he delivered the finished song by a special plane.

Doesn't have Jay's flavour

A Do's latest plugged song "Give In" from his new album "Hello", the composer was Jay, but yet it was a song that didn't have Jay's flavour at all. It was like it was made for A Do. In reality, to A Do, this song is like a "gift from the heavens".

"There was one time I met Jay while performing in Mainland China, I sincerely asked him to write a song for me, I couldn't have thought that he would really promise." A Do admits his eloquence is not good and he knew there were a lot of people asking Jay to write songs, even though he proposed his request, but he wasn't sure if Jay had time to help.

He couldn't have thought, Jay was very serious, he quietly made the song and lyrics of "Give In", but at that time A Do was in Singapore, there was no way for him to try out the song, Jay thought fast and immediately delivered the recorded demo to Singapore by plane, Jay's enthusiasm, cannot be bought.
